Synopsis
El colegio Tsukumihara es un lugar ficticio que existe en el mundo artificial conocido como Moon Cell. Allí, el Moon Cell hace una réplica del Holy Grail (Santo Grial) usando un sistema llamado SE.RA.PH, que se encarga de invocar a los Servants. La información de los Servants se recoge en el Automaton, un ordenador espiritual construido en la Luna y que fue descubierto en el año 2032. En esta guerra alternativa participan 128 Masters, quienes luchan en un lugar llamado Arena. Quien pierda será eliminado tanto del mundo virtual como del real y cuando sólo quede un Master, el Santo Grial le concederá un deseo. Hakuno Kishinami se despierta en este extraño mundo virtual sin recuerdos de su pasado y se ve forzado a luchar en la guerra para sobrevivir.
