Synopsis
Un arma exoesqueleto diseñado por Japón, Infinito Stratos (IS) se puede pilotar sólo por mujeres. Su poder y destreza de combate son tan inmensa que un tratado internacional se ha firmado la prohibición de su uso como un activo militar.
Cuando se descubre que 15 años de edad, Ichika Orimura es el único hombre capaz de dirigir un IS, que está inscrito por la fuerza en la Academia Stratos Infinito: un internado exclusivamente femenino, los estudiantes de los cuales se gradúan para convertirse en pilotos de SI. En esta escuela de formación, Ichika se reunió con dos de sus amigos de la infancia, Houki Shinonono y Alma Escondido Huang, y se hace amigo de Cecilia Alcott, un representante es del Reino Unido.
