Synopsis
Kagome Higurashi es una joven moderna que vive con su familia en el antiguo santuario de Higure. Sin saberlo a Kagome, ella es la reencarnación de la sacerdotisa Kikyo y posee la "joya de cuatro almas" (la joya de Shikon). Un mal día, Kagome localiza un antiguo pozo cerca de su casa y es transportado abruptamente a través del pozo y en un Japón feudal, habitado por demonios. Allí, se encuentra con Inuyasha, hijo de un poderoso padre demoníaco y una madre humana, que está atrapada en un árbol por una flecha encantada.
