Synopsis
Charlie, un vagabundo errante, se convierte en un manitas de circo y se enamora de la hija del dueño del circo. Sin darse cuenta del afecto de Charlie, la niña se enamora de un joven actor guapo. La versatilidad de Charlie lo convierte en la estrella del espectáculo cuando sustituye a un caminante hermético.
Se le da de baja de la compañía cuando protege a la niña del abuso de su padre, pero regresa y le pide al guapo artista que se case con la niña. Después de la boda, el padre prevalece sobre ellos para unirse al circo. Charlie vuelve a ser contratado, pero se queda atrás cuando la caravana sigue su camino.
