Synopsis
Basada en la novela homónima de Emmanuéle Bernheim, Everything Went Fine es una película de drama escrita y dirigida por François Ozon. La historia comienza a finales de 2008, cuando a la edad de 85 años, el padre de Emmanuel Bernheim es hospitalizado tras sufrir un derrame cerebral. Al enterarse de lo sucedido, Emmanuel se dirige rápidamente a emergencias para averiguar la situación de su padre. Enfermo y medio paralizado en su cama del hospital, este hombre apasionado por la vida le pide a su hija que lo ayude a morir. Pero, ¿cómo podría cumplir con una petición así cuando se trata de su propio padre? Este largometraje fue seleccionado para competir por la Palma de Oro en el Festival de Cine de Cannes de 2021.
